Olga Wachter – Private Psychotherapy Practice
I am a humanistic psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. My work is grounded in Gestalt and person-centred traditions, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, personal meaning, and emotional honesty.
I work with clients place mutilingual and cross cultural-context --- often, but not exclusively, in relation to relocation, living between cultures, or moving between languages. I work with clients for whom language, identity, and cultural background are an important part of how they experience themselves and their relationships.
I also work with international and cross-cultural couples, including partners who speak different languages and are learning to understand each other across emotional and cultural layers.

Working With Me Means :
A confidential and ethically grounded therapeutic space. Therapy sessions are confidential. I work in accordance with professional ethical guidelines, practise within my scope of competence. I regularly engage in professional supervision and ongoing development to ensure the quality and integrity of my work.
An understanding of what it means to live between cultures, including the emotional impact of relocation, language shifts and changes in identity and belonging.
An individual therapeutic process, guided by what is relevant for you at this moment, helping you gain clarity and feel more grounded in yourself and in connection with others.
Working in your language. I offer therapy in English, German, and Russian, with attention to emotional nuance and cultural background, not only to words.
You do not need to have a clear diagnosis or a “major problem” to begin therapy. Sometimes it is enough to feel that something is no longer working as it used to or that you would like support in understanding yourself more deeply.
